Its the first official day of Winter!
We live just south of Denver and have not shoveled ANY snow yet.
Our mountains are getting all the snow and frankly, they can have it.
I rather enjoy the dust on my snow shovel ;)
I know many of you across the country,
and even across the pond,
have already had a pretty Winter-licious Autumn!!
Fingers crossed that was the worst of it!! ;)
So I've had the fabulous colors from
bouncing in my head for days now.
Yum!
Wasn't sure what to do with them until I saw the new
How cute are those mittens??
And while I was toodling around the Moxie Fab World
I also came across the
hmmm...dare I try for a 3-fer??
Oh...I dared all right :)
Those sweet little mittens from the Trigger reminded me of the Spellbinders mitten dies that I hadn't opened yet.
Seemed like the perfect opportunity to have a little fun!
I inked up my freshly die cut mitten with
My sweet friend Lisa Petrella recently posted a fab tag project using this stamp with glitter so I thought I'd try her technique out here. Instead of adding the glitter to the stripes, add the glitter to the white space in between! Yummy!
I also stamped a pattern stripe using a border stamp from Schlosser Design's Circle-A-Thon
and then added tiny blue rhinestones to the centers.
A winter-licious mitten!

Oh my word, this card is utterly delicious! I love that embossed background, those pom poms are the perfect touch, but that glitter is to die for yummy! LOVE that glitter on the "white" parts....totally going to give this a try sometime! (When my crafting mojo returns!)

Sadly, all we have on the ground is MUD! And yucky leaves and pools of yucky water.... BUT we have lots of green grass, so I guess there's that! heh heh! You're SUCH a hoot! I love this darling card for SO many reasons! Positively, EXQUISITE use of those WONDERFUL {!} JUGS colors! BUT also every bit of flawlessly used materials and design goodness makes this a card worth TREASURING! Love it, m'dear! You ARE awesome!!!!
